Myspace "extended network" vs. Facebook networks?

Am I wrong but is everybody on the planet in my extended network? Even if I'm not logged in and look at a profile that person is in my extended network. What's the purpose of having a network if everyone's in it? Doesn't facebook only allow people who are in a particular network to see a profile?

I am contemplating switching to facebook for this and many other reasons...what's your opinion?

Definetly switch to facebook. Myspace is so cluttery and filled with pedofiles and weirdos. Facebook, is much more organized and safer.

Yes, facebook only allows people who you added to be your friend see your profile, which makes it soo much safer.
