My Network Places - Win2k Pro Question #5?
First off you lost what you say "part of your desktop" because of exactly what you stated. You became logged on as the Administrator for the machine. However, This would indeed result in the reason nothing was set up for your internet provider, this sort of setting does not carry over in most cases.

Secondly the setup looks fine, but im not sure exactly what you are wanting out of this as you say experience. Be a little more specific on what you are wanting out of it.
Reply:man, why dont you just call router support like and they will walk you thru the setup for free?
Reply:If this is how to setup a home network then Id say you have it but must warn you that you'll need to be alot more specific when dealing with novice users...
