Connecting a non-network drive to a network drive through USB?

I would like to know whether it is possible to hook up a non-network drive to a network drive using USB. This way I can increase my hard drive storage space without buying additional network card.

When I check my computer, all I see is my network drive. Please help! Thank you.

USB connects to a specific computer. Unless you share the drive over the computer (file sharing) or get a ethernet network drive, the answer is no.
Reply:No. You must connect the usb drive to your pc. If you want it available to other machines set it up as a shared drive.
