Under "NETWORK CONNECTIONS" WHAT IS THE 1394 NETWORK ADAPTER USED FOR?I'M ASKIN BECAUSE IT'S B/W. IS 400MBPS

WELL IN MY (NETWORK CONNECTION), OPTIONS I HAVE NETZERO UNDER THE "DIAL-UP" %26amp; UNDER THE "LAN OR HIGH SPEED" OPTIONS I HAVE 3 OPTIONS %26amp; THEY ARE


1394 Network Connection at 400MBPS %26amp; Thats Fast as HELL!!!.


THE OTHER 2 ARE THE WIRELESS INTERNET OPTION %26amp; LASTLY THE LOCAL AREA CONNECTION. HOW DO I USE THE 1394 NETWORK OPTION TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET?

1394 connection allows you to use a 1394 IEEE connection to access a network.





While yes, it may be 400 Mbps, it will not speed up you internet any. Only LAN traffic.

Reply:This is also called Firewire, usually this connection is used by Digital Video cameras as a DV connection. They also can be used for external hard drives and such.

Reply:You don't. It's for one PC to another in your house, or office."Networking". Your modem only goes to 100mbps, so it wouldn't help anyway. Would be nice if it did though.
