I have a NAS attached via ethernet connection to my BT Home router. I want to be able to access this from outside the house. e.g. in the office. I know my IP address. I also know the network address for the NAS, which is something like 168.212.1.71. I have tried entering the IP address then the network address of the device, but this dosent work.
How do i connect to the network device from the office.
Network device address ???
You'll need to forward the proper ports on your home router to the internal IP of the NAS.
