Home Network Laptop to desktop through wireless connection?
Check the laptop for any type of switch or key that disables/enables the wireless. I was pulling my hair out trying to get my laptop to see the wireless and it turned out to be something as simple as that. Even though you may have enabled your wireless via windows, it may still need to be toggled via switch or keyboard key.
Reply:do they both have the internet?
Reply:Sounds kind of like the router you may be using has local loopback off, If I recall correctly this is normally required to be turned on for the wireless and wired computers to be able to talk to each other on the same network. Might want to look at your router and talk to the manufacturer or look online to see if the issue is commonly occuring and what the fix is.
