Local network?

when i go into "my network places"





sometimes the i see at the top "local network"





what other types of networks are there...





in a house....





sometimes i see 4 folders...








"movies on presario"





"music on presario"





"public on presario"





"users on preario"





im on a shared network i guess...





sometimes i see





"cyborg on cyborg"





so i guess im on a shared network!!





and i can view the compaq presario computer...





whatever its in...but it never shows the MAC!!





always with windows...

Local network?
It doesn't show the Mac because you don't have the proper protocols set up to do that. By default a Mac will not show up on a Windows network.
